It was great seeing kids outside playing basketball and having fun. Before I asked to join in a game of 21, I observed a group of kids competing and having a good time. It took me back to the days when I was a kid and basketball meant everything to me. After I dominated all the games of 21 (I had to), several kids from the ages 6-14, come up to me afterward and asked if I could train them. That lead me to believe that they loved the game and were passionate about getting better. That was a good sign.
